Well, what kind of message or problem are you getting when you try?

this is gonna sound silly, and i apologise, but did you make sure you typed in the old password correctly before you tried to change it?

I haven't, but it would be nice to know what kind of errors you're getting, like Jasujo said.

I had/have the same problem.
After changing the password, it comes up with a blank page.

are you getting a page with Parse Error ... something something (don't remember all of it) on line 76? If you are, alot of people have been getting that since last night.

I know that because my friend was here, had finished a new lookup and was going to put it up and kept getting that error. According to the boards, it was still happening earlier today. Apparently it's not been fixed yet. You would think something to do with passwords or other information would have priority, especially after April.

I still don't quite understand why we have to change our passwords just to change our lookups. Remembers fondly the lookup edit box on the boards page where you could just keep tweaking/changing/editing until your lookup was just right without having to change a password constantly.

You don't have to change your password to change your details, do you? I thought you just had to type your old password.

You only have to enter the password. Not change it.

Hello all, thanks for the replies. I get a completely blank page, no error messages. Still the same today. So I am thinking it's probably a problem/bug. Hopefully they will fix it soon. I will send Neo a bug report.

There was a big exploit of the retrieve password function that allowed people to retrive passwords of other accounts without getting it sent to the user's e-mail account.

The users' emails were also shown along with the passwords, weren't they?

Jasujo, yes that "glitch" showed username, password and email - and went on for days.

Anyway, as far as lookup changing, for some reason I always have to use a new password - no matter what I do, nothing will go through unless I change it. Drives me crazy!

Right now I'm having a problem ... I'm 99.999% sure I'm typing the right pass to my gallery, but keep getting a bad user/pass page. So I used the lost password option. Problem? It's not coming. And I know someone who requested theirs Monday night and never had it emailed to them either.

Now I know I need a new keyboard (some of the keys stick), but I've tried numerous times - I have the pass written down - and no matter what I can't log in! Anyone else having this problem?
