Whats the going price for a pink petpet p/b these days... cause I found one for 99,000 NP and I was wondering if i was getting ripped off?

Also I found a golden p/b... also at 99,000... Is that good??

Why don't yuo check the TP and auctions yourself to check, or ae you trying to brag?

I seriously have noooo idea.. I'm lost and clueless and i've spent the last half hour looking around to get an idea of price and i'm still lost!!!!

Generally you can get a basic idea on what an item costs based on what only_matt said. Look at the TP (Pink petpet --> a bit above 100K) to get a rough idea on what people want.

Your best bet is to put 'em up onto trade, give your wish of about 110K maybe, and see what offers come on in, and then come back here for more advice

And if you found a PB for < 100K, that's a pretty amazing deal!

Okay. The trading post and the auctions, as people above said, are the best way to go.

Pink Petpet Paint Brush:
Trading Post- The cheapest I'm seeing right now is 105,000 neopoints.

Gold Paint Brush:
Trading Post- I'm seeing the cheapest at about 154,000 neopoints.


For auctions, it's all about a bit of luck. You want to try and pay less for something in the auctions then you would on the trading post. So if you could get one of the paintbrushes for under the prices I posted above, that'd be great for you.

This is kinda not relating to answering your question, but some "non-popular" paintbrushes have been bought by members who have tried to crazily inflate them. Such as the speckled pb (i think it's that one). You'll see about 5 for 1mil+ and the rest are 225k or so. Don't fall for the 1mil price as you will never be able to sell them that high.

This is not as bad as a person/or people who post an item (on multiple accounts) for trade for MUCH less with no intention of selling. They then buy up the items from people willing to sell for lowest. The prices then skyrocket to twice the actual average price. I call it the "Secret Guild" scam ring. Yea...I named it. I also wrote an article for it for the Neopian Times. I hope they print it!
