Why are Speckled PBs so inflated?

I just checked the prices on the TP, and they are inflated big time. Why? o_O

There seems to be a group of people that picks a new paint brush to inflate every week. They just buy up all the cheap ones they can, and then raise the prices on them. I've only noticed because I trade in paint brushes fairly often these days, and a new one seems to skyrocket every week or two... the last one that I noticed was the electric blue, and sometime previous to that was rainbow.

Hmmm, strange. and stupid. But hey, at least it makes it look like my collection of worthless PBs is actually worth something.
