If you lent it out to him and he sold it, nothing you can do about it. Sorry. :(

And that is the price you pay for lending out items. Did the person give you neopoints in exchange for it? If yes, buy another. If no, your loss.

Did you at least get any collateral?

Its often very brutal to lend without any kind of collateral.

Well, at least you got collateral. Better than just lending the card to anybody and getting nothing in return for it.

But I want to help people. And I really want to lend it to my guild once I can bring the cost low enough... they helped me a lot when I was a newbie.

If it's still in his trades neomail him and ask for it back, that might be your best chance.

At least you have collateral, you should have seen it coming.

He has over 100 neomails in his mailbox, can't neomail him right now. MSPP card can occassionally be bought between 6.5m to 6.8m. I will just have to look out for them.

He sounded genuine and is 34 years old, not some teenagers, and he is not too far short of the normal 7m collat I asked for, so I thought I will help him out.

I should be able to get another card with the collat I received, just upset of the fact that I got scammed, that is all. I wish I can trust my fellow neopians but I have to be very strict on the collat in future.

I am going to look out for another card as I have promised to lend it to my Guild at a low collat, so the tips I received are for that purposes. A promise is a promise and I intend to keep it! 0:)

When he realised that the card can be bought cheaper, God helps the next person who borrow the card from him with 7m pure collat.

There arn't a lot of nice people out there, and these people often get tricked... At least you got collat, and you can buy another card for your guild. I wish you the best of luck! :D

Honestly what can you expect, maybe 3 years ago when I first was playing neopets you could've lent somebody something, but these days neopets is just one seething mass of scam.

You could report him if there's a reason in the report form that fits what he did. But, it may not work. Of course, TNT would probably say "OH LOOK! Somebody reported someone! Let's freeze BOTH of them!!" *all of TNT jumps up from their cubicles and runs over to the freezer's cubicle to watch the freezing* 0:)

He did not put the card in trade for me. He asked for my email address and negotiated the whole deal through email, not neomail. Then he never replied.

The card is gone from his trade now. Besides, you can't offer more than 800k pure NP in trade. It was done through auction. I don't have items worth that much to offer in trade.

I do not think TNT will do anything so I did not report him. The word "scamming" is a bit misleading, "not honouring his promise" is perhaps more appropriate.

Just wonder what happened to the card. o_O
