You can also lose levels from the Lab Ray.

If your pet's level is below 50, it can take it back down to 1. :D

You do know that you can't train your pet unless it's level multiplied by 2 is greater than the number in any of your pet's skills, right? So, if you lowered your pet's level chances are you'd be out of a lot of money and time.

Discordant's right...actually I only train on my pet's day. No, I don't battle, that does totally confuse me, but on the off chance I ever did decide to give it a go, and being cheap (and broke), pet day is good for training.

I've found if my pet is level 1 and has even 12 hp, all I can train for is level. It's a pain and feels like a waste of training (even free) to have to keep training for level when I want to train for endurance or strength, etc.

So, try to keep your pet level up, that'll help keep your training costs down.

I'm fairly sure your pet's level needs to be below 10 for it to be taken down to 1

Not sure, but I think people have posted on the BD saying 50..that's alot! of levels to lose. Though they also say level has nothing to do with battle abilities  I think it's just training?

All I know is the dratted lab ray lately has taken my lab pet down to level 1 at least once a week - and the poor thing's already at level 1!

You can battle someone who has Von Roo Fangs - they break, so it'll cost you if they do, but that'll suck away one level per hit.

if I'm not mistaken there's also a weapon that turns your opponant into a yellow chia :P Imagine using that on a fire draik or grey krawk or something.

Anyway, deadly dice is probably the easiest way to lose a level, though it might take a while.
