My Good News - The evacuation orders were lifted entirely for my area/neighborhood. Fires are getting contained and the smoke is less than the last few days. Not gone, but better.

My phone will still not get onto L&L. My "home phone" can, but it's at home

Thanks Pickles. The house is actually open this morning to finally get some fresh air. The smoke smell still there, but it is really faint.

I was without power for 77 hours. Thankfully have great (COVID-safe) friends I could stay with - and other friends who helped me salvage nearly everything from my fridge and freezer.

Blue, glad things are better with you.

I'll be ordering a new phone soon - hopefully before the next crossover week. I don't know if I'll be able to get the app on the new phone - maybe since I already have it in my Google account? If not, I could delete other apps on the old phone and still use it on WiFi, maybe.

HEADS UP:

For some reason, Legends and Letters is doing another active crossover week - and chests are being awarded. No telling if this will continue for the whole week or not.

...of course, this happens RIGHT AFTER I pay out the nose for the stamp, now that items are tradeable, but...maybe I'll get the super weapon instead?

Umm... I thought Legends and Letters was no longer viable and pretty much dead for the last year? I think I still have it on my "Home Phone", but it is not on my "new" phone. And it is gone from the Play store. Looks like I'll need to find a backup and install... Mergh.

It's supposed to be. No one has a clue why it suddenly is doing an active crossover, but...I'm going to go as much as I can. Really hoping for that weapon. Kinda want to sell it for the ridiculous amount it's worth.

I was able to install it on my new phone since I had already "purchased" it in the past. Loaded fine, all good until... logging in. Ugh. Do not remember my L&L PW. I do remember my username and email, but the reset password feature is not working. Grr. I guess I'll keep guessing.

ETA: The password reset feature is indeed working. The reset emails were going into a 2nd account's spam folder

Of course I missed day 1 yesterday by not checking in here. Hopefully I can still participate!

Edit: I actually missed days 1 and 2, but you can buy the prizes for gems, so that's easy enough! All caught up.

Yeah. I was tempted to just wait and then complete all of the challenges with gems, but am actually playing along now that I could get it going on my new phone. Actually working to level up/ascend my main leader, too.

I'm playing a little extra, too, but not super crazily. I've collected all the chests so far, but haven't opened them yet. That'll be a fun thing to do tomorrow or something. We'll see. Still hoping for the crazy weapon, because I could use a nice sale.

I missed another one, but now I'm all caught up. I just hope I remember to do tomorrow's challenge on time.

I'm trying to level some of my extra pets. I've been kinda mindlessly doing the autoplay on levels while doing other things (like writing this post). Lost Desert 6 and 8 give a lot of 2* (both stars filled) fire and lightning cards, so that's been helpful to level quickly.

Oh, I forgot you can autoplay!
