I'm not sure exactly where this should be... so here goes. :oops: I was surfing around on Neopets doing my Dailies and I went to my Inventory to put away some of the Items. Then a pale-yellow bar underneath my Browsers' Toolbars popped up saying 'To help protect your security, Internet Explorer blocked this site from downloading files to your computer. Click here for options...' o.o;; That's never happened happened to me on any Website, let alone Neopets so I didn't know what to do (I've had Internet Explorer block Pop-Ups frequently but never this...) - I logged out then logged back in again deciding it was probably a one off. Then I got the exact same message on about five pages in a row... I logged out after that. -prods Neopets-

Vista came with Internet Explorer and I rarely - if ever - edit it. Mainly because I tend to make a mess. :oops: (The only thing I think I've done woud be to allow Pop-Ups on certain Websites... like Neopets so I can actually use my Inventory... I don't know if anyone else has editted it though...) I don't know if there's something wrong with it now, or if anyone else is having similiar problems with Adverts being blocked. o_O Any help would be appreciated (...to help alleviate my paranoia). :oops:

It sounds like IE's security settings got bumped up too high.
Go to Tools->Internet Options->Security
There should be a "Internet" setting - what is the setting at?

Just had a look, and it says that it's 'Medium-High'... whatever that means. ^^;;

I think my old Windows 98 used have a similiar setting set at that level on its' Browser but I can't be sure as I haven't used it in so long. -scratches head-

It's probably too high, then. :) Try bumping it down to Medium and restart IE, see if that works.

Okay, I'll have a go and see if it works. ^^ Thank you. <3

I guess I just let my paranoia get the best of me. :P

Heh, nothing wrong with being paranoid. Let me know if it doesn't work.
