only users starting with an A seem to be affected right now

Username 'ah_girl22' doesn't seem to have a shop!

NOTE: If you've noticed your shop has gone missing this past weekend, not to worry. We're in the process of a database move that's taking longer than expected. Your shop is sitting happily in the old database waiting quietly for its turn. If your shop is one that seems to have disappeared, please don't create a new one. Your shop and all your items will return as soon as everything is done moving. Sorry for the wait!

probably have to hold off the shopping then *sigh* i'm shopping for packrat right now, as every time i get to the 500 mark i get bored and sell all my items :P 5th time now lol :P

If you see my sanity, get it to give me a call.

I know some that have been down since it first started. I don't think they were ever really "fixed".

I agree, this has apparentsly not beed "fixed" for the shops/names originally affected. From posts I've read there's still alot of people who either have no shop, an empty shop, or if they've gotten their shop/items back, many of those have items missing.

Now it's another name group? Oh boy, I'll have to let my friend know, her user starts with an a. I know she'll be thrilled if she logs in and finds her gallery gone ... not.

I hope they're able to get these server/database things worked out soon.

My username starts with "a", and my shop is still up. Perhaps they didn't get to the "ar"s yet?

This isn't a new problem. Perhaps, autechre, you didn't realize it until now because you weren't looking for the right items. I first noticed it affecting some of the shops on the "a" line early Monday morning--and those same shops are still affected. It also hit a few shops on other lines as well. If you were looking for glamour neggs, regular brown neggs, christmas tree neggs, you would have seen it earlier.

And, it hasn't affected all shops on the "a" line--mine and my daughter's are perfectly fine.

In fact, if you check some of those user names whose shops apparently are missing, you find an interesting common thread--none of them have a "Last logged In" column on their user look up. I have a theory: Maybe these aren't active accounts at all--just dead accounts that happened to get moved when all of the other shops were also moved. It would make sense because these shops all seem to be at the top of the "a" line with ridiculously low prices--at least in the case of the neggs I was searching for--and the prices of neggs have gone up quite a bit in the past few months.

I noticed something similar to that yesterday when looking up cheap lab map pieces. One of them didn't even appear to have an account and I was thinking along the same lines of these people not even being active or something along those lines.

I wish they would fix it--it is really hard to sell a negg on my "a" line because there are about 10 "dead" accounts ahead of me on that line.

*sigh* All of the items in my husband's shop are gone now. His shop is there but all of the items are gone. I hope this gets fixed soon and he gets his items back. I'm getting really sick of this, though.

Jas, did that just happen? Or it is a result of what happened late Sunday/early Monday?

It happened around 1 pm, right before I posted. I seriously can't believe this happened again. His items still aren't back. At his shop (size 59) is still there. I'm worried because he did put items in (not knowing his shop was gone because it had been there moments before). As soon as we noticed, he took them right out, but I don't know if that's good enough.

Oh, Jas, your hubby has more than his share of bad luck with his shop. I guess we all need to check our shop front to see if our shop is really there before putting anything in.

Criminy, just how long does it take them to "move" these shops? It started back in March--I think the city of Rome was built in less time.

Why was the last shop disappearance thread locked? Mine was in that first batch of shops that disappeared, and it's still not back... sigh. Am I the only one like that? :/
