* Yay! Tyrowbees can now be painted snow, red, rainbow, and blue at the Petpet Puddle.
* There is a new Mystery Pic competition. The answer to the last one was Caption Contest #757. 261 people guessed correctly, earning them 7,663 NP each.
* If your Neopet always seems to have bad breath you might want to consider a stop at the Chocolate Factory for some of these new mints...
* carolsim's magnificent abode - 484877 Market Street, Neopia Central has just earned them this week's Neohome Spotlight award.

And still no news about the glitches. Like the glitches were just the figments of our collective imaginations.
I sure wish I could curse on this site. Cause I'd tell Neopets to have some guts and openly admit this problem--only I wouldn't say guts, but another part of the anatomy, near the guts, and they are things that I, as a person of the female persuasion, do not have.
Should get one of those paper airplanes, write FIX THE GLITDHES on it, and toss it into TNT's work area. But even that might not get their attention. Perhaps, if I set it afire.

Not only are there no plot prizes, but no acknowledgement to the glitched among us. -grumps- I wish I had a large group of neofriends from my town...I'd start a Neopets boycott...

Neopets hardly ever mentions anything about glitches.
They want to be the "perfect" pet site, so in their world nothing ever goes wrong. And if nothing ever goes wrong.. why ever say anything about it?

I am glad to have cheered you up. Mothyrwitch. Everyone that I have talked to is so frustrated right now--because they can't play the game. My guild is just dead. None of my friends are playing, but instead are finding other things to do with their time. I actually started cleaning out closets and drawers and have rediscovered the games on zone.com. Patience is a virtue. But sooner or later, I will forget just how much fun this game was and find something more fun--and more reliable--to waste my time on. And, as such, discontinue sending my $8 a month to Neopets. One would hope that someone in management would start to realize that could easily happen--especially with the premium players. Oh well, it will be interesting to see what they do, if anything.
Dustin, actually they have mentioned glitches when they affected a large number of people. If you check the news you'll see that they mentioned the last two glitches to hit us--those in May and June 2006, when the auctions and tp glitched up. And they did in November 2004 when the SDB got rolled back. So, I am hoping that they will do so again. If for no other reason than to let people know that it is ok to play the site again.

Remember when TNT used to acknowledge these things? "Sorry guys, there is a problem with the site, but we are working on it." I remember a few times where they kept us up to date in terms of working out kinks, status of server moves and the like. What happened?

Neo has had tons of lag lately, too.
I'm just fed up with their rules, and the way they are running the site in general.
In my honest opinion, they could do so much better.
That's why I myself stick to Subeta now except I log in Neo to collect interest, check neomail, and visit the lab.

I wouldn't expect them to acknowlege the glitches in the news unless the number of people who know about the glitches was more than or equal to the number of people who read the news.

Warning: rant ahead!
Honestly, even I'm getting really annoyed with TNT and so far nothing weird has happened to me or my account *knocks on wood*. But I honestly feel for the people it's happened to. I couldn't imagine losing 2mil because of a glitch, and for that, Morningstar, you are a much better person than I because I would have sent the angriest letter I could to TNT probably resulting in my freezing. They should at least have the common courtesy to state the fact that, YES, the site is very glitchy right now and YES, they WILL fix the glitches and YES, everyone who was affected WILL be reimbursed and YES, everyone WILL get a free 50k. (That last one is just a little hope of mine
)
At least the premium members should get SOMETHING because we actually pay real people money to play this site with extra features and we shouldn't have to pay if the site is going to be constantly hiccupping and costing some people tons of NP.
