I heard as long as you have different email addresses for the different accounts, that's fine :) Or rather... that it helps.

Edit: I should add, I read it in the Editorial...

TNT watches item/money flow and how each account is used. As you are two different people who play neopets differently, there should be no problems.

Actually, about two years back around Christmas-time, I was spending the week with my cousin and she played too, and she did all her dailies and signed out and I logged in and went to do my dailies and I couldn't because of the IP address being the same.

Every once and awhile I ponder this, wondering if TNT did anything to fix that with the rise in popularity of the site.

Same goes for having cable or DSL. It's a shared IP among all computers in the house, is it not? Would there be problems if two or more people played under one roof?

I have a family with up to 6 avid neopets players under one roof at the same time :) We've never had a problem with it, even when we only had one computer. Now there are several on the network. In the six and a half years I've been playing, there's never been any issues.

My brother and I play at the same exact time, thanks to wireless internet and my dad's DSL. No problems (yet). We definitely have different playing styles.

My boyfriend and I play on the same computer. We have different e-mail addresses and use different browsers (so both of us are actually logged in at once, one on Opera and one on Firefox), and we play very differently (I use the stock market and flash games, he restocks and plays Neoquest). We've been doing this for about a year and haven't had a problem.
