I'm thinking about possibly writing an article for the Neopian Times next week, and for it, I was wondering if some of you would be willing to give your opinion on the Ogrin pets? Most of you know that I'm an Ogrin fanatic, but good or bad, I want to hear your thoughts on the species. If you vote, please explain why you chose what you did. If I want to use your reasoning in my paper, I'll PM you and ask you permission first.

(Just so you guys know, I'm really looking for quotes/opinions to open the paper with; the majority of the article would revolve around my own ramblings. )

I like/love Ogrins! What makes them particularly appealing to me is their unique style...they are not too cutesy-wutesy as I feel some Neopets species are. And it looks like they have a look of determination in their eyes, especially when they're angry!

I find their combination of a mohawk (or quasi-mane), and their ears to be a bit weird...

I love them! I have a rainbow one. Their appearance is so goofy and lovable, yet they still have that serious face. They just crack me up.

The plushie they'd released as an Advent Calendar prize was definitely cute and wondered if ogrins looked like that when they were released. However, they weren't

They're cute in a fluffy way, but they're not my type of pet.

Ogrins are way cool. Definitely in my Top 3. I love their mohawks.

I like Ogrins. They're not my favorite pet, but I definitely wouldn't mind if the lab ray zapped my pets into one.

I like/love ogrins, especially baby ogrins. They always remind me to grass, somehow

Wow. Thank you, everyone, for your posts so far. I was honestly expecting a lot less love for the Ogrins.... I might have to change my opening paragraph now.

Although I'm not fond of them, I wouldn't go so far as hate. Their awkward appearance and seemingly strange personality leaves me wondering every time I see one. I'd prefer a Neopet that does not look like it borrowed from several other species, and not one that has me dwelling over where it exactly came from.

im neutral to ogrins cuz they were released in a time where neopets was getting sort of a makeover, and it just "breaks the rules". i think mout of the 3 that were releases that time, they all "break the rules"(Xwee, og and gnorbu) but this one does it in its own way, its much more detailed than, say, the Mynci, but less than nthe Xwee. its an overall ok pet, but not many users like them for exactly "breaking the rules", they like non-detailed pets like the Wocky, or that are just plain beautiful and when ou see it, you IMMEDIATLY want to adopt it *cough*Xweetok*cough*and some more advanced users dont like it very much because its a kinda new pet and doesnt have much colors. what i mean is that of those 3 pets, most people have somewhat of a ranking system, being Xwee>Gnor>Og. mine is kinda reverse, its Xwee>Og>Gnor

They remind me of the great red dragon from the bone books. Who is awesome. And orgins are just really cool anyway.

I cant stand them. I thought they were a joke when released, and I still cant think of them as a real Neopet. They look way too busy, and the mohawk, stripes, and strange tasseled ears/tail dont do anything to help.

I wouldnt want them gone since it seems a lot of people do like them. But I know I'll never ever own one by choice.

Anyway. I like them, though they're not my favourite pet. The design of them just amuses me XD
