Invalid Security Code

Sigh.

And all I wanted to do this morning was come online and play with my pets. Well, it seems that plan's currently down the drain since I can't sign into Neo... everytime I try I get told that the security code is invalid. I mean, I can understand maybe screwing it up once, but 3 times?

I get so annoyed at Neo at times like this.

PS. Is it just me or has Neo changed their security code format? I'm getting all sorts of weird fonts now, where yesterday it was just plain old text.

yep it's changed yet again and apparently, i get that "can't log in" glitch sometimes too.

that is really bad. I'm a very hardcore restocker and If that happened to me then I would really be mad.

It's definitely not my day. I've given Neo 2 hours, plus written a complaint/query to the support staff, and I'm still having trouble logging in.

So, just out of curiosity, is this happening to anyone else? I mean, right at this very moment?

Well, I'm not exactly desperate, but it's probably worth trying anyway.

It's sorta funny, actually, I would've much rather had an encounter with the much-hated red pteri than this. At least I would've known then that I wasn't all alone in my dilemma.

I've actually given up trying for today. But that's okay. It just means I'll be able to spend more time here without being distracted by Neo and vice-versa.

ERROR : Oops you have been directed to this page from the wrong place! If you KEEP getting this error, chances are you have some security settings enabled that are not letting you play Neopets correctly.

I was just restocking and i got logged out

You sure you got logged out? I get that message whenever I forget to turn Internet Security off. It's such a pain that program.

wondering if something on the security code is being worked on...that might explain why you kept getting that invalid code message. I know just recently no one could log in for awhile, everyone was getting the same security code. Then the new code with all the different fonts appeared.

T.M. are you able to log in again? You know the drill if you can - go change your password and check your email just to be on the safe side.

It's possible, I suppose. But it doesn't really explain why only a few people are having trouble (I'm not going to say that I'm the only one)...

Oh, and despite what I said earlier, I didn't really give up on trying to log in. I give it a try every so often, and I'm still getting nowhere.

seriously, use another browser. internet explorer is quite messy for some players..

Well, so far I've tested it with Netscape and Opera, both of which I had on CD, and I've still had no luck. Is it possible, then, that the problem could be with my account rather than my browser?

in that case, it could be due to neopets server. eh...did you set your browser to accept cookies? you might also want to fiddle around with your security settings as well.
