I have just put a shell in my collection, but i cant find where to look to see what i have in my collection.

Please can someone point me out where this is.

So i guess once they have been placed its the same as the stamps, we lose them forever?

Yes, that is right. Just like stamps all collections are forever immortalised in the Album.
