The PPT Promenade is coming soon.

This will be a mall unlike any other. A mall where dreams come true, where items can be purchased for Faerie Quests at a substantial discount over traditional Neopian Malls. Would you like to be a part of the revolution? Read on, friend, read on.

Unlike the current major malls, we will not need to spend millions of NP on advertising. Rather, word of mouth and PPT will be our advertising. Although this may mean less business than other malls, we will have no overhead and this allows us to bring lower prices to Questers.

We're starting out small, but may expand in the future to include other specialty shops. There's no guarantees here- I promise no fortunes will be made, but if you're willing to try, we're willing to give you the oppourtunity.

The PPT Promenade is looking for 3 dedicated Neopians to fill three spots:

1) Light Faerie Quest shop (Providing Trading Cards)
2) Dark Faerie Quest shop (Providing Toys)
3) Water Faerie Quest shop (Providing Books)

Qualifications:

You must have a size 100 shop or better, larger may be needed for the shop to be effective. You must have the NP to stock said shop with the appropriate items.

Long term play is an asset.
Any previous major shop experience (especially within a mall) is a major asset.

You must be able to follow very strict mall guidelines, which will be laid out at a later time. Suffice to say, there will be no competition selling among our mall members, nor junk selling at inflated prices.

You absoultely MUST be able to keep your mall stocked, with quest items. I don't care to hand hold anyone. I need people who can be trusted independently.

If you're interested, please reply to this thread with;

Your current shop size
Net worth (total of NP, ETS Items)
Experience in Neopets (Length of play, etc.)
How often you are online, how many hours / week you can dedicate to your shop.

Serious applications only, please.

Good luck to all applicants. The PPT Promenade gets off the ground Thursday, August 17th.

Very good idea (it's nice to see a maller who doesn't want to take advantage of newbies), but for security reasons, many wealthier Neopians don't like posting their net worth on a public board. ;)

But if anyone wanted to know - Cranberry is worth approximately 107 billion NP.

The mere concept of Malls is immediately defeated by the shop wizard?

Aren't malls inherently taking advantage of newbies? You can't keep a mall-sized shop stocked and profitable without having higher than ShopWiz prices. Since only newbies don't know simply to ask someone else for ShopWiz (or better, SSW) results, any shop that has almost all items almost all of the time will be making profit over the backs of newbies..

I wouldn't mind runnign the book shop/water faerie quests.
I need to increase my shop size a bit (it's only 83 right now) but I already have about 500 books in my SDB right now.

The only drawback is, because of work, I am offline every third day for the entire day. Infact I work today, so I'll have to get back with you about the details on saturday.

On the plus side though, I can make graphics.

i think he's referring to the fact that up there it states that the prices will be much lower and basically discounted.. and anyone using the shop wiz can come and buy out all of the low priced items.. maybe he's not saying that.. if he's not, then i am..

the concept is great, except that you can't have a low priced shop for just people you like or want to help.. so to keep them stocked, prices will have to be higher than the lowest.. which some people *cough*pooroneslikeme*cough* can't afford..

though i would prefer to buy at shop of people i know or would like to know :)

I'll' bet she is :) What I meant was malls actually do make a lot of neopoints - a good mall shop can make over half a million neopoints a day now provided it is kept stocked.

o_o Why wouldn't this be in Bill?

I dislike many people who have malls simply to take advantage of newbies.

However, I also take advantage of newbies by telling them they must go to the Remove Account page and put in their password in order for them to get a Fountain Faerie Quest. :)
