The last 3 or 4 quests I've had, the faeries have blessed the pet that I wish they had not blessed! *lol* Are the pets chosen at random?

yep, the pets the faeries choose to bless are random, unless of course you only have one pet then they have no choice but to bless that one :)

I really should train myself to not get my hopes up with Neopets because I'll just end up falling harder on the ground... face first!

Aw, that's a bummer. I have a favourite pet, which is kinda bad I spose as I really shouldn't be favouring any one! :) I have noticed though, it's the pet on the right of the selected pet that's been getting blessed, hmmm....

I'm convinced that the quests that give you levels and defense are always aimed at your lab pet. Then of course they are immediately zapped away by the lab. *grumble*
