How often can you Zap your pet {using the lab} a day?

Once and only once. You can only zap one pet once a day.

Correct. And I don't believe it's against the rules, I've never heard of anyone having problems with more than one Ray (myself being one of them) and it may have been mentioned by TNT at some point too.
