how do i manage my guild so ppl will join?

There should be a Guild Admin panel down in the bottom left hand corner of the guild sidebar. You can access the sections to add text and graphics to the guild main page, change the colour schemes, change the rank names, add a logo, etc. There are a few pre-made guild layout sites around, don't know any off the top of my head but there might be some linked from the petpage of csshelp.

Other than that, try get a few friends to join the guild (don't pressure/guilt them though, they won't like that) and then do a bit of advertising
