What happens if you get the other, non-lab maps? For example..
The original map? The spooky/underwater/space maps?

you can sell them, put them in the trading post, or you can auction them.

It's always better to sell, the prizes you get are worth much less than the cost of the maps (don't ask me how that works, I have no idea who's buying them...)

In my opinion I think they should make the prizes better and raise the chances of getting uber awesome prizes so that when you do get a map piece you sorta have to sit there and figure out wether you are gunna take your chances with collecting the set to see what prize you will get and wether it will be worth more than selling the set, then just selling it without even thinking.

It's somewhat balanced as it is actually, looking at the listed prizes. Your chance of losing on it is bigger than your chance of winning, but if you win you can win a lot more.

My girlfriend once got a 2 mil np plushie from a normal map. *shrug*
