As far as I know, the only strategy to Dice-A-Roo is to keep clicking on "Roll Again" until you get Game Over. Lather, rinse, repeat.

You'll never earn as much from collecting the jpot as you would in a 60-second game of Meerca Chase, which is why people I've talked to generally never cash out. You're going for the food it starts giving away starting with the 3rd die, and of course the jackpot, which can be considerable if you're lucky enough to have gotten the 10x multiplier. (I've only hit the jackpot twice, and the first time I only got a few thousand and the av, but the second time I got several hundred thousand NP from it.)

The only thing that I can suggest is play for items (and REs), not neopoints. The NP in your pot aren't worth it and the Jackpot is hard to get.

Soemthing that I always though. Its costs you 5 np per go.try getting atleast 10np and then colelct the post. if you keep doing this you double your money.however only try to do it in ten click.if you go up a level then play for tiems

I had thought that too, about doubling my money. BUT... the value of the items you get is typically about 75-100 np. If you play until you get just three 75np items, you have made enough money to play dice-a-roo 45 times without a loss! and I bet you don't have to play 45 times to get those three items.

Plus, there is always the possibility, however slim, that you could hit the jackpot. So if you keep rolling and never collect your NP, you will almost always break even by the value of the items you get, and you could potentially make a lot more than you invest (from items), and you could potentially also win the jackpot or get a cool RE or a quest.

So compare that with the idea of cashing out for just double your money....

I have a strategy that's not freezable, cause I have been using it for a long time, and other people have too - in Control Panel>Keyboard, drag Repeat Rate all the way to Slow and press OK. In Dice-A-Roo, on the second screen where the five dice show up, click on the button Play Dice-A-Roo and hold it down for 3-6 minutes. Your pet will get bored after a certain time, and if you check your inventory, you'll see you have recieved some items, sometimes even the jackpot. It only works in IE, though.

As far as I am aware, that is a freezable offense.

*gawk* :o is it freezable if you do it yourself (i mean, sit there and hold down the key for 2-3 minutes)? i understand if you put a rock on your keyboard and walk away and get a drink, but...

this is not giving you any advantage over the person that does it the long way. I mean, it's less boring for you, faster, but your pet gets bored quickly so it's not like black pawkeet slots where you could potentially rock-play it all day, all night, while you're sleeping, while you're out shopping, etc. Your pet will refuse to play Dice-a-roo rather quickly, so you have

So you're not getting anything by doing it this way that you couldn't get by clicking all the buttons, you're just doing it in 5 minutes instead of 25.

But I would like to know the answer to this, if anyone has a DEFINITIVE answer rather than "I think..."

Well, I wouldn't have thought it would be playing the game fairly- I wouldn't even risk doing it.

We'll see what the other members here say.

Exactly, it's not infinite, it just takes less time than it would if you clicked on and on.

- Hitting refresh repeatedly for a few minutes, allowing the page to load. – Great

- Holding down F5 for 10-30 seconds at a time, checking for the avatar/challenger, then trying again if it has not been achieved – Still good.

- Holding down the F5 key for 20 minutes – Okay, but try to take a break for your mental sake and ours.

- Leaving your "cat" on the F5 key while you make a sandwich. – Not good.

- Leaving your "cat" on the F5 key all night while you sleep – Bad.

- Using a program that refreshes for you at the same rate as a human – Frozen!

- Using Opera to open 100+ pages and hitting "refresh all" – VERY frozen.

Exactly. So it's okay.

Doesn't that make it an advantage?

No because the other person who does it the long way is able to do it the fast way, but is maybe not aware of, or prefers not to change the repeat rate or any other reason. :)

I see.

Ah Well, I guess I was wrong though; but regardless, I'm not even going to risk it.
