I cancelled my premium subscription on Friday (and yes i recieved an email back from D-jesus saying it is offically cancelled).

I have no idea why I still have it or why for that matter... Not that I mind the free service but I don't want to get frozen for it...

Any one else this has happened to or any one who has any ideas please leave a comment...

Heres a stupid question... How in the world did you cancel? I've been trying for days now. Is it something I'm missing? I've done everything but call them.

You have to send a email to mailto:techsupport@neomail.com.

In this email you have to have your username, your address your phone number the last four digits of your credit card and the reason you cancelled.

You'll probably still have it until the time you have paid for is up. :)

I cancelled during my trial because I didn't think it was worth the money (I'm a teenager on the dole{unemployment}so i don't exactly have $$$).

so if I get to keep it for therest of my 15 day trial or not i don't know... And no i didn't use a referal I signed up directly from the website.

If you cancelled it, it will quit eventually.

I tried emailing them, i tried their online tech support.... it took me about 2 weeks to finally get ahold of them to cancel it. Now thats smart... easy to suscribe to premium, but hard to cancel. Theres a sham if ive ever seen one

Anyway, I had to call them, and give them my username and credit card number and everything, and then answer a servey about why i was disatisfied, and then finally they said "well, youve allready paid for it this month... so you should still have it through October 20th." or something of that sort.... and it was ... october 3rd or something. So used it and tried to get my moneys worth, but surprisingly enough, after the 20th, it kept going... it didnt turn off. So then i thought "oh crap, they told me they were going to cancel it, and didnt. Iditios. I better not get charged again...."

... well, i was lazy, and didnt want to go through the whole process of reaching them again, so i procrastinated for about a month.... and eventually, it turned off. I guess if they are lazy also, they might just give you some extra time with it.

You should try cancelling a Rhapsody (must service from RealPlayer) subscription! The number they give to cancel transfers you to India tech support and their English is horrible. They could not find my account even though they were still charging me!

After complaining about the horrible tech support they transferred me to "level 2" support which was just as bad and finally to "level 1" support which was in America but they still couldn't find my account.

They said they were having database problems and would cancel the subscription and give me a call as soon as everything was back up as well as give me a refund for the past month.

I never received a call and finally took all the money of my PayPal account (which the credit card was through) and when they couldn't get the money they cancelled it. I never did receive a refund though.

The information on how to cancel is not hard to find and it on the premium website for all to see. It tells you the numbers to phone and the email address to write to and it tells you what information you need.

I called and canceled my Premium sometime last month but I still have it also. It wont officially cancel until your next billing date. Since I signed up on the 10th of a month (I forget which.) my premium service will not officially cancel until the 10th of this month.

It's amazing how many people can't find the info, but it's right on the premium help page at premium.neopet.com. People post all the time on the boards asking how to cancel (though it seems a majority of those are kids panicking that their parents will soon discover they've swiped daddy's credit card from his wallet XD). TNT put a button on the premium page labelled 'help', I'm not sure what more they could do to inform people where help can be found.

Luckily it only took TNT 2 days to finally get back to me and confirm my cancellation. It was cancelled as of Friday the 5th, but Chances are I will still have it till the 15th. I can't complain, i am getting it for free...
As for finding the information to cancel it was pretty hard to find (The easiest way to get it I found was to email TNT and ask how to cancel) and the fact that I had to cancel by email because the "Live Chat" was down and I don't want to call America from Australia since i'd have to pay for it and as a broke teenager thats a pretty expensive call.

But as long as I don't get money taken out of my account next week I really don't care.

Cheers

Heres a  for everyone.

Shellie
