1-player enemies fixed?

I heard somewhere that the one-use items on the 1-player enemies are now actually one-use. Is that true? I'm thrilled if it is.

If that's true, it's very recent. I fought the GHM Chomby yesterday and it wasn't the case.

I'm trying to beat the Giant Ghostkerchief, I'm testing this theory now. He hasn't done any single use items twice yet, it may be true.

Edit: I think it may be true, I've been fighting for a while without a double use.

It's been fixed for at least a couple weeks now (I posted a thread about it on the IDB on the 5th). It's made fighting a lot easier... I managed to finish DoN 1 and even beat Snowager with my 200-boost pet. TNT are tweaking the challengers and making them a little tougher, though (I believe they added the ability "sink" to the Meerca Bros, for example). This all seems to be intentional and I'm pleased by it, although I think we can expect to see tougher war opponents who will have really nice main attackers to make up for only being able to use their bombs/freezers/healers once.

I definitely think it's going to make the fights a lot more fair, i.e. the Snow Beast can't freeze you every turn, or heal every time you get him down to a few HP.

On a sidenote, I'm tired of repeating this, but:

Where is the Snow Beast?

I've been refreshing in the AC for awhile now. Editorial mentioned that he's going to be easier to get, so his location might have moved. Can anyone clarify?

I got him a few days ago as a BD challenger as an RE in Terror Mountain. I don't know it that's significant, but it surprised me that I didn't already have him.

so now he's insanely rare all over terror mountain as opposed to in one map. joyful.

Best way to get the Snow Beast is to refresh at the Gift Tags, Advent Calendar, or other low-visit or seasonal TM page.
