Unfortunately, I got sick today and stayed home from school. Good thing I didn't feel like lying down, though, 'cause it's HALF PRICE DAY!

What did everyone get so far? Most of the main shops (especially Book) have been very competitive, so I've started resorting to other, lesser-known shops today.

Nothing yet...but I have won four lottery tickets from Dice-a-roo (I'm not sure why I mentioned that...)

I just got a few collectible cards. Stamps are flying off the shelves.

Since i've gotten into restocking now, and i know what to buy, i plan on getting something. the card shop is COMPLETELY empty. that's really rare, but i guss it's expected, since everything can give a profit today

I don't bother with Half Price Day. I have too slow of interent connection to actually compete with those running cable...

I never get anything on half price day but thanks to this post I might(I usually forget lol)

And auto buyers.

I did manage to get a few things for my gallery though.

as someone posted on new years or haloween or one of those times, autobuyers can't always be blamed. there are hundred, thousands or millions of users vying for the same items. it's fairly likely that one of them will beat you to it, especially if it's a rare thing.

I managed to buy lots of stuff last night while most people were asleep, but there's no point in competing against everyone now. Half Price Day is just crazy... I would probably profit more from the decreased competition on any normal day, but I'm usually too lazy to bother to restock.

Oddly enough, I am getting more at the candy store than I usually can on an ordinary day. Or maybe I just think I am because I'm willing to get sugar bunnies and other useless stuff at 1/2 price. Or because I'm actually paying attention to the shops.

I'm not restocking anymore, now that everyone who had school/work is home for the night. It's even crazier than before, honestly! I usually restock at book, which was extremely crazy today, so I resorted to other, lesser-known shops. I went to Faerie Furniture to work on my super-secret gallery idea, and got the item was looking for in the FIRST restock.

Also at Faerie Furniture, I managed to get one of all the ovens, a Queen Fyora Print Bed (worth like 500k, I paid 9k, yay!) and a Dark Faerie Dresser (worth like 60k). On the side I bought as many books as I could from Faerie Book and Desert Scrolls - I have like 20 copies of Pazo the Lonely Aisha XD. But I'm going to wait to put them up until I finish my big bookstore thing I'm planning, which should be fun.

I don't usually play the restocking game - too boring and time consuming to sit there and refresh every 3 seconds hoping something good will come up and trying to buy it before someone else does. I managed to get an alabriss from the altador petpet shop, but I lost 5k to the mutant kadoatie RE in the middle of trying to buy another petpet!
