Lutari Paint Brush

There has been no mention of it in the news at all but it's showing up in the auctions here.

What's amazing about that is that he started the bidding at 100 NP with 100 NP increments. Looks like he's in for a shock! He probably just got it in a random event, and is wondering why he's being flooded with Neomails.

I thought paintbrushes are supposed to give just the color, not the species as well

The way I'm reading it (and I could be wrong about this), it sounds like there's going to be some new land named "Lutari Island", just as there is currently a "Mystery Island" (or maybe it'll be a virtual non-existent section, like "Strawberry Fields"), and that there will be a new category of "island" paintbrush to go along with it. In other words, I don't think it will change a pet's species and will only give them a set of "island" clothes that are different from the current "Mystery Island Paintbrush".

And if I'm right in this interpretation, a more proper, less misleading name for this item would have been "Lutari Island Paint Brush" rather than just "Lutari Paint Brush".

And from the looks of the very few Lutari stuff out there already, this paintbrush is going to be a cool color! (look at the Lutari stamp!!)

It is a Lutari Island Paintbrush...so it won't change your pet to a Lutari. Using a certain mobile-web device will give you access to the actual Lutari Island. Google it and you find tons of images.

Basically, in my opinion, its a mixture of the rainbow paint brush and the island paint brush.

Or.... one could call it the MardiGras paint brush. There are worlds with timely themes.... like prehistoric, egyptian, futuristic.... and then there are worlds that just have themes like Space, Island, Water, etc.... I'd say this is MardyGras/Party island, where pets play and party all day long and have alchoholic beverages and join parades aaaand throw beads aaand that sort of stuff. Except.. with some neopets editing involved. Yes. Its Mardi Gras Island with a Mardi Gras Paint Brush.

Shh, I'm fairly sure that's actually illegal now!. Atleast the police don't approve of it. But Mardi Gras PB? Yes please!. Even though the colours are a little.. different from our purple/green/gold concept.

P.S. Forget daiquiris, bring the beignets and cafe du monde!.

I wonder if they'll be a "Western/Cowboy" themed world... Like with Saloon and other types of stuff... That'd be cool :3

Did anyone research the person who has this item for trade, because I did, and the person is only two months old, a little peculiar don't you think? And the bids are up well past 600k now.

Theres actually been a few of the paintbrushes in the auctions already. One person said that they one the Lutari PB from the Alien Vending Machine, but people might be somehow accessing "Lutari Island" from their phones already, to get these items, so, who knows!!

I've been coveting the Lutari feathered bed, dresser, and chair for months. I'm sure I'll never set paws on them but they do look §\^/££'].
