Someone has been harassing one of my guildmates, by making like 20 accounts, and bidding on his trades with all the accounts, and neomailing him like crazy. If he doesn't report each one, will Neopets IP ban them? Do they ever IP ban?

They do do IP bans, but it's rather rare. I would suggest that your friend report every account that's been bugging him, and make sure to include the statment "I'm pretty sure that this is the same person as account1, account2, account3," et cetera.

Ive always wondered if IP banning took care of people with an IP that changes each time they sign onto the internet. I dont understand computer stuff all that well, but Ive read that dynamic IP addresses are reused by the ISP for various computers needing one. Therefore, I dont understand how TNT could adequately ban any IP addresses except the static kind :/

An IP ban does NOT work if the offender doesn't have a static IP address. One thing that neopets CAN do is ban an entire range of IPs provided by a specific provider (I know of online games, for example, that ban all AOL IP addresses). But for just one person who doesn't have a static IP, it's totally worthless.

I don't understand either... oO do they even freeze people if they play games on the computer even though it could be a sibling? I see so many people making the 'dear TNT my brother plays...etc" posts on their lookup

According to the NT Editorial, they pay no attention to those comments in your look-up.

You can. They wont be mean and just look at your IP, because they know that families play and stuff. They'll look at the email addresses you have listed, and differences in the account too. But those little notes to TNT just dont hold any sway. Anyone can write them and be lying.

Thanks for the IP information too, shapu.
