I just did a kitchen quest and the chef gave me a 'the ixi book' as a prize - its one of those new books released for ixi day. Well, I can't find it anywhere on the shop wiz/trades/auctions, so how do I know how much to price it for?! thanks!

Perhaps you should sell it when other people start putting it in their shops/trades/etc. Then that would give you an idea of the price. :)

Yeah, I'd wait til it was publicly released. That way, the collectors will know it's out there, and will be willing to pay more. Plus, you can check the price more accurately. ;)

You can wait, or you could put it in trades for more than you'd think it'd be and see what kind of offers you got. Considering not many people have it yet and bookreading is very popular, I'd think some people would want to pay decent for it. :)

I'd reccomend keeping it until you find a few others selling that item, then sell it for a bit less.

Congratulations! Again... just wait for a bit. Tomorrow sounds like a good time to sell.

thanks! I decided to put it in trades just for the hell of it, but if no one bids I'll do what you all recommended and wait.

Actually if you search for it on the wiz with 'identical to phrase' selected, you'll find it. ^_^

It's a rarity 87, which means it will drop in value quickly (anything under rarity 90 does)--so, take my advice, price it at 99999 in your shop and hope to sell it before the price drops drastically. And, if you don't believe me, check out the prices of other books that are rarity 87.

Just ask me about my rotten onion experience. Almost the very second it came out a few months back, my daughter found one in someone's shop for 200 nps--she advertised it in her guild and immediately sold it to someone for 100,000. I got one about 20 minutes later from the esophagor and couldn't sell it to save my soul. I ended up selling it for 199 nps two days later.

Bottom line: Take the "money" and run!

Tested made this fabulous set for me!!! Isn't it great?
