Which auction type appeals to you as a BUYER?

VERY HIGH mimimum bid sets the price exactly where the seller and buyer want it and a second bid would be way too much EXAMPLE: item worth 50K; set the price at 30K with a minimum bid of 15K. First bidder would obtaint he item at 45K and no one will place a second bid because 60K is 10k more than the whop wiz.

HIGH mimimum bid sets the price very close to where the seller and buyer want it and a second bid would be close EXAMPLE: item worth 50K; set the price at 40K with a minimum bid of 5K. First or second bidder would obtain the item at 45-50K and no one will place a third bid because 55K is 5k more than the whop wiz.

MEDIUM mimimum bid sets the price around where the seller and buyer want it and the first few bids would be close EXAMPLE: item worth 50K; set the price at 45K with a minimum bid of 1K. First few bidders would obtain the item at 41-50K and it should not go over 51K.

LOW mimimum bid sets the price where much bidding will get it the seller and buyer want it EXAMPLE: item worth 50K; set the price at 45K with a minimum bid of 500. Bidding is brisk but fierce 50K.

1NP mimimum bid sets the price close EXAMPLE: item worth 50K; set the price at 48K with a minimum bid of 500. Bidding is as much or as little as the person desires. Sometimes fierce, sometimes slow.

If I'm actually purchasing the item for my own use I prefer the VERY HIGH minimum bid so that I can bid, leave the auction and not have to worry about someone coming and bidding over the top of me.

However, if I'm purchasing for resale I like the 1NP minimum bids or even the LOW MINIMUM bids so that I have more chance of getting the item at the lowest possible price :D

Since I am too forgetful to auction-snipe (I always miss the time when the auction expires and when I remember it is too late!), I prefer a high min increment for one bid winners.
