Congratulations! You have guessed correctly in the Lenny Conundrum game (round 158). You have won 4339 NP!

Because you were in the first 250 to guess correctly, you also have been awarded a Ten Dubloon Coin, and receive a trophy and the Lenny Conundrum avatar!

The answer was 106. How you ask? Take a look at this picture and my thanks to the friend who found this graphic :D

Old Cap'n Bloodhook, the captain of The Black Pawkeet, has spent the better part of the past week packing away his hoarded dubloons. He has hardly gotten any sleep.

So, you want to talk to him about last week's Lenny Conundrum, but you're not sure if you should approach him if he's not in a good mood. So you ask one of his deckhands how he's feeling.

"I can't really tell you," the deckhand says. "If he overhears me talking about his mood, I'll surely be walking the plank before long." But he hands you a piece of paper with a code on it. "If you can figure this out," he says, "you'll learn how he's feeling right now."

How is Old Cap'n Bloodhook feeling?

Good luck everyone. :) *ponders*

See the difference up top?

Unfortunately, I didn't notice that possibility until AFTER saying 105... :(

A little late here but I think I finally solved it and I wish I was around when it first came out.

On the last one I missed out since I thought it was 100 until I later realized the truth. I guess that what happens when you try to submit the answer fast for a gold trophy.

This new one is fairly easy. I just hope I got my answer in in time.

Here's the solution for 159 including mathematics, as a PNG image:

Got the 106 one.

You were essentially maximising 10m+9n subject to
m*2 + n*2*[sqrt(3)-1] <= 20, leading to m = 7, n= 4 (I used trial and error there)

But I did not get the prize.

This one was really easy. I had this figured out in a minute. (At least, I hope I have it correct.) :-D

After someone said that the answer is in HEX, it clicked for me.

Anyone else get it? ;-)

another low payout I'm guessing, and I came home a couple hours too late for the item. The answer was all over the boards. O well, just another LC like the others.

All you need to know is hexadecimals, and even saying that is a bit much. But once you get it, use common sense and it'll work out in a matter of minutes.

Okay, I applied all the codes to hexadecimals and I still can't figure out what on earth the series of colours is supposed to tell me about how he's feeling? Help!
