For the past month or so, I've been doing snow faerie quests to try and get some weapons for resale (what with the impending war and all). However, for the past two or three weeks, all she's been giving me in return is food.

I used to get battle helmets from her, and I may have occasionally gotten a rare food item, but for the past ten quests, she's been giving me species-specific foods. Did TNT change anything? Am I just facing a string of bad luck?

Also, I don't accept quests that will cost me over 4k. Would the price (or rarity, I suppose) of the items I buy affect the prize I receive?

I can't help you with your question, but I can tell you that I have never received anything from the Snowfaerie that was worth more than a few thousand. I have been regularly doing quests for about 3 months.

I only accept quests under 5,000. Three quests straight required an unbuyable - and I mean unbuyable there were none of those items anywhere (can't remember what they were, besides it being some kind of Candy).

I've been doing quests for a few years - I don't do anything over about 3k.

I've received some nice rewards, usually end up with a profit of 1k or so (reward item plus neopoints rewarded). Sometimes I break even, very occasionally I lose a little, but 3k seems to be a safe cut off.

Some rewards were exceptionally good - I remember getting an ice cream coupon worth 65k once, having only spend about 2k - but that is very very VERY rare.

I'd start with keeping it under 3 to 4K and see what your results are. If you're having good luck and nice profits, try some that are a lil more expensive. However, I don't think the np's you spend on the quest relate to the reward you recieve - it's pretty random in my experience (before I set my 3k limit I was trying different amounts and it didn't seem to make a difference at all).

Believe me, I don't intend on ever going over 4k. I'm not made of neopoints. I'm still curious as to whether anyone else has been getting nothing but food items lately.

I think what it is is that she gives out a random item between a certain rarity, like from R65-R95. So many of those crappy species foods have been released over the years that they outnumber the regular items that you would get.Just hold out for a good prize; it'll probably come eventually.

I think it was about a month ago that I spent about 3k on one of her quests and received a negg worth about 30k in return. ^^ I won't go over 5k on her quests though.

I'll keep track...you have been right so far though, the last three quests of hers I've done have all been food items. I also keep my quests to 3.5k or below

I've found that (most of the time) the more items she asks for, the higher rarity of the prize... or maybe thats just me.

I just completed a quest for her - 3 items, 565 np's for the entire quest and got a faerie kougra sword, rarity 90, worth about 3500 to 4000 np's.

No problem - I was curious myself but she kept giving me expensive quests (that I wouldn't do due to the expense) until this last one made up for it lol
