Can someone please tell me the deal on this guy. I have gone there at the appropriate times but only get "why don't you try back later", so I wait until the 2-3pm slot and still the same. Do you have to get there right at the hour or what to get anything

He is asleep at 6am-7am, 2pm-3pm, 10pm-11pm neopian standard time. That means in 10 minutes you can go and try

You can go any time within the hour starting at (for example) 6.00am till 6.59am

Well I just tried again right at 6:00am and this is what I got: The snowager stirs or something to that effect and says try back later. So I go right back in and this is what I get now:You dont want to try and enter again for a while...
the Snowager may wake up...
Come back later Why do I keep getting these messages???

could it be 'The Snowager moves slightly in its sleep.. you decide to run just in case it wakes up!'

or something like that? it says that a lot. if it doesnt say 'the Snowager is awake, best to come back when he's sleeping' then you got it at the right time. You can only try once in the hour he is asleep.

You wont always get a prize for going there, sometimes you will get blasted, and if you are really lucky you may get the avvy!

Thanks for replying. I just get so angry when I try always at the right time and get nothing. Oh well maybe I will leave it for a week and see if that makes any difference.

you can try every time he sleeps. i dont get much from him anymore. Might get a key ring occasionally.

If you are going at the correct times then you are not doing anything wrong

I've found that if I go between 25 past and quarter to the hour when he's asleep then I am more likely to walk away with something. Its almost like he has to have been asleep for over 20 mins to be heavily asleep enough for you to steal something. That may just be me though as I've never had anyone else say that.

Someone told me to go around xx:xx:10, and though it certainly hasn't worked for me every time, I've gotten some nice plushies at that second (a green Lenny and a green JubJub, for instance).

When you say you "go" at 10 seconds past the minute, do you mean
click on the Snowager link from the Ice Caves then or click on the
"the Snowager is asleep" page?

I did it at the page where it says "he is asleep so click here".

Really simple answer: bookmark THIS SITE. It's actually a site to keep track of which avatars you have and which you need (and a pretty good one), but it keeps track of all the timed events (Snowager, Turmaculus, Count Von Roo,... did I miss any?). Also special days when you can get an exlusive avatar for that day only, and lots more. When I want to visit the Snowager, or something else, I just open this site, take a quick look (it appears at the top of the site), and I'm up to date.

If this is advertising, blast this post from the face of the earth (or, delete it), but still, its related to the topic, many members will already know the site, and it's not like AvatarLog offers any services that compete with PPT's, right? At least not that I'm aware of.
