How do I get past this?

Every time you type the word documentary on the Neopets boards, it comes up as document . . ary

How do I get around that?

Hah! Looks like they started piling on all sorts of stuff to block javascript better. document is a very commonly used word in js, so they're adding cruft after it to try to break any js that would use it.

I'd say just fake it to get around... either a lowercase RN (rn) in place of the m, or a c in place of the e or something like that. People will know what you mean.

Huh, you learn something new every day. Is there a similar reason for the word "windows" appearing as "wind*ws"?

Is this simlar to the "Onkey" being blocked.

I lurked on one of the neoboards where people were being moronic and kept typing in "Donkey" and "monkey" and they kept turning into "D-disallowed word- " and "M-disallowed word-"

Katy, I don't understand the window becoming wind*w myself, noticed that on my gallery blog.

Anything with document is being filtered - documenting, documented, etc. one was also being filtered, which was really odd. Instead of one, it was on e. There's a few other words that I can't remember at the moment.

Oh and apparently right now there's no music on lookups (that one gets a yay from me) ... I don't know if that's permanent or not.

No music on lookups? Oh, I hope that's permanent! I want them to ban music from lookups, shops, galleries... I think Firefox actually refuses to play it anyway, but it always irritated me so much when I used IE. If I entered a shop and tinny bad "popular" music started blaring at me, I would immediately hit the back button and go pay more for the item elsewhere.

I wish they'd ban all extra coding from shops. Allow people to personalize their galleries, fine, but there's no reason for shops to have anything but maybe a shop blog (if people are looking for a specific item or want to thank donators, they could do it there). It was nice being able to personalize your shop when it was the only place you could have a gallery, but now that galleries are a separate entity, it's pointless. All those blinkies and adoptables and dolls and backgrounds just make shops slow-loading and annoying.

Oooh, this is a fantastic idea. I hate hate HATE shops that have a ton of crap between the top of the page and the item I need to buy. It's unbelievably annoying.
