Yep, the Bilge is back. And while I love the new checkboxes because they make things faster, I HATE that the game automatically re-rolls the remaining dice for you. It's taken all the strategy out of the game.

For example, if I already have a 4, 1, 6, and 6, and I roll a 5 and 4, I'm definitely going to keep that 5. I may want to keep the 4, but it all depends on what my opponents have when they've selected all, or all but one, of their dice. So in the "old" Bilge Dice, I would keep the 5, and that extra turn would give all my opponents a chance to finish their game or have one die left to roll, so I had a good idea of whether or not I could beat them. In this new version, I have to decide on that turn whether to keep the 4 or not. If I select only the 5, the 4 is automatically re-rolled. The strategy is gone and now the game is based mostly on luck, and it sucks.

I have a play:win ratio of 54:10 right now, and my friend was at 100:20 when I last heard from him. How are all of you guys doing? Heh. :x

I didn't keep track of win/loose, but I did get the bilge dice avatar today.

Win streak is horrible, too. I've played 83 games and my win streak is 2. It was 1 until my 70th game. My friend is on his 60th game and he has a win streak of 1. Just that one little change has made the ratios in the game all out of whack and made it much harder to win. Blah. If this doesn't get fixed, I am only playing this game on the first of the month (to shoot for a trophy) and that's it... which sucks, because I used to play every single day.

Same here :D

I agree that they ruined it. Though, to be more fair, the cheaters ruined it for everyone. Maybe if the programmer spent more time on the solution they could possibly bring it back the old way without the cheaters being able to see the full roll of the opponents before even keeping 2 of their own dies.

Now its just a pure luck game. That 10 streak thing looks even more impossible now...

And they still have a glitch in the game. Whats with the free plays taking away 50np per play?

The cheaters were annoying, but the bug could have been fixed without changing the style of the gameplay. I guess the programmers just took the downtime as an opportunity to "improve" it, which is never a good thing, heh.

The programmer in charge of the game has put the ability to roll the dice by yourself back in. HOWEVER, the opponents still select exactly as many dice as you do per roll. If you put in two, so do they. If you roll, they don't put in any. And so you still all finish the game at the exact same time. The best feature of the "old" game was that depending on whether you kept or rolled, sometimes you'd finish first and sometimes they would. That allowed you to develop a strategy. Now it is still just a luck game, and it's no fun at all.

Bilge dice is back to normal now. It doesn't automatically reroll for you.

And they fixed the free play bug. Now it really is a free play again.

See my post right above yours. It doesn't re-roll for you, but it's not back to "normal." All four players still finish their games at the exact same time, which is not how it was before.

I played four games today -- lost three, won one, and decided to give up this game for good (except on trophy day). It's just not worth it anymore.

Well, looks like more people sent in a feedback on the game complaining about the automatic reroll... I'm glad they put that back to normal...

But I also strongly agree that the not-finishing-together thing should be there again too, cause as you say, how are we to develop a strategy if we can only base it on wild guesses?

The high score list has been going whacko today, and seems like it has been reset multiple times.
