Does anybody know of a helpful support personnel at Neopets? The support staff that is currently "assisting" me with this gives me nothing but 1-sentance replies that seem to have been cut and pasted from some manual and I seriously doubt if she even reads my emails. :x

I was a premium member but I just cancelled the service cos I have been frozen for 2 weeks already and it doesn't seem like it's going to be resolved anytime soon. But the person I got on the line while I was cancelling my subscription said that they couldn't help either.

If you don't care to have your account returned, you might call your credit card provider and cancel the charges since you've decided to unsubscribe from the service. At least make sure you're not paying for nothing.

Premium members have a special frozen account inquiry they can send to get someone to look into their situation. It doesn't guarantee you'll get your account back, but it apparently gets you a faster reply. Go to http://premium.neopets.com/frozen.aspx

Frankly, the money is a secondary concern now... I just want my account back!

Has anyone ever been unfrozen before? How long did it take?

I was frozen for "cheating". Adam himself posted on here that I wasn't actually cheating, but I had given items to someone who was. My friend had been frozen and I gave him some stuff to help him back on his feet. I explained this situation about 458974398574 via e-mail to the staff.

I never received ANYTHING but an auto-reply, and even those stopped after a while.

Conclusion: I don't know what their support staff is up to, but I'm guessing it doesn't involve actually reading/responding to mail. For people who say they get lots of mail, SO WHAT? They're not being paid to sit in a cushy chair and only reply to what they feel like reading. It's their flipping JOB to read those e-mails, and frankly, there's an overwhelming amount of evidence that they don't.

I bet 1/4 of the mail they get is resent mail. People don't get a response, so they just send the same email (or another email asking the same thing) out again. Before you know it, that's a dozen emails about the same thing. Maybe if TNT had replied the first time, it would cut down on the email. Even an automated "We receive a lot of emails each day. We have received your email and will get to it in the order we received it. Please do not resend this email." And then actually reply to you later.

Edit: I know you get auto replies to some emails, but I mean ALL emails sent should get an auto reply. I've entered the gallery spotlight for over a year now, and have never gotten a reply. Back when I started, I thought you had to submit your email each week. Apparently not, and now I don't know if my email is blocked for 'spamming' or not. It's very frustrating to not know if I'm entered or not.

She's refering to the time before they made it easier with the submission form. You had to e-mail them with the information rather than using a form.
