Is it me, or has anyone else noticed that none of the items from the three Qasalan shops can be used yet? They just sit there taking up space in my shop.
I've contacted TNT through the contact report about a dozen times over the last two weeks, and nothing's changed.
Also, I've noticed that many of the new items released over the last couple of weeks (dating back, I think, to the opening of the Battle Faerie shop) have not yet found their way onto the site.
I don't want to come off as a jerk, but is it that hard to set up an item to be used? It's one, maybe two lines in a database. There are only like 20 of them. Maybe 35 if you count the new stuff.
Am I missing something here?
EDIT:
It's actually three weeks since a new item was activated - the last news-posted items that are in the shops are the new snowballs and snowflakes from the 6th, and the christmas morphing potions from the 9th. However, the items posted on the fifth are not yet live. Items put up on the 2nd are active and circulating.
I counted about 100 items or references to items that have been made in that span that are not yet live.
*mutter*

TNT has a knack for not releasing items. Neoitems has around 1300 MIA/not released items
All you can do is keep sending in bug reports. Heck, send in 2 a day. Perhaps they'd get the message that way.

It's quite amazing that that number of items have not been released, I mean surely (even without users writing in) they must notice? It's not a difficult thing to check and correct. And although they're usually pretty bad at releasing things I think this month really takes the biscuit and the cheese.
I'm still waiting on those new petpetpets to be released and they were announced ages ago too ¬_¬

I really just wish they would institute a policy. Don't announce items until they have been released.
Ever.
It might mean less items, but... well, not really, now that I think about it.

Still, over 100 items a month is way too much. I'd get pretty tired if I were the item activator dude.

It's pretty much the same number they've released every month.
They used to not announce items until they were live - then they just...well, they just stopped. I'm not sure as to the reason behind that policy change, or whether it was just a matter of shifting people around or getting new people or what.

We also can't forget 2003 - 2004 items

FORTY SIX pages on Neoitems for missing items. (There are 1371 results from your search.) In the missing items section alone. But this also includes things that they never intended to release, and rare things they didn't enter into the database yet, so the number would be slightly less.
The MSP toys, kacheek foods, LAST YEARS brucicles, the petpetpets, jellies, morphing potions, etc
They still haven't released some petpets and pet colors to the rainbow pool.

Perhaps we can start a mini-campaign. If someone posts a running list of the relatively recent (< 6 months) missing/unactivated items (maybe even with the dates the items were announced, if we have them), we can all send in bug reports with a list of the items or a link to a petpage with a list of the items. It's bound to catch attention, especially if we each submit one bug report and one editorial entry per week about it. Imagine just getting 20 people to do it. Probably at least 50 from here. Maybe even 100? If I mention it to my large guild, there's at least several more. Who knows how many people would end up participating.
Just an idea. I'd be willing to help out as my job/life allow. ^_^ Mostly because there's a few items I'd like to collect, but they aren't active.

Neoitems is a bit ahead of you:

But they haven't really kept up with it. They were successful getting some swiss rolls released, but nothing else

So why don't we start the idea over here? Heck, maybe if we pick it up, we could get them to do it again, and maybe it'll spread?

yeah, and this one's not even listed in the MIA section. I've been waiting for this little beauty for a year now:

NeoItems was not successful in getting those Swiss Rolls released in my opinion. They only reason they were released is because TNT created some new Swiss Rolls and when they went to release those that's when they realized on their own that the last batch had never been released.
If the NI campaign had had anything to do with it I believe the MSPP Toys would have been released as well. That campaign was even advertised on the NeoNewsNow website. I myself sent in over 200 questions to the editorial about them asking for their release. (A person is only allowed to send in 3 editoral questions a day from a single account. But if you do 3 a day from all of your accounts then one person can send in quite a lot.)
Even if a question does make it to the editorial there's still no guarantee they'll do anything about it. Several months ago a question pointing out the fact that Aboogala had never been properly released made it in and they promised to release it. Still waiting for that to happen.
mercurious - That Snowflake Pendant is already released. It's among the active items over at NI. It's r99 and searchable on the Shop Wizard, there's even one in a gallery.

Yeah, saw someone asking the value of it one day on the Battledome Chat, it was in their gallery. It's a very cool looking item, too. Too bad it's junk in the BD.
