Neodaq.com not loading?

Er...I have been consistently getting timeout error messages when trying to access neodaq.com. It has been thus for about 5 days.

Is this problem unique to me?

The host and the site owner had a bit of a misunderstanding about some communication emails between them from a while ago. He expected it to be sorted out by now, but it hasn't. Hopefully tomorrow it should be back, he really expected it to be back today.

Wow, I'm kinda surprised to see PPT members using neodaq.com. There must be quite few lurkers.

Oh, yeah. I use neodaq.com daily (at least), but not the forums. LOVE the charts, LOVE the .xls!

I'm glad it's back - I had to do arithmetic on my own, yeech.

i use it too. i only surfed the forums to see how a new xls was coming along before. i do love the xls though, for a while i was haphazardly buying any 15 priced stocks =p

I use mainly the report card for buying and charts for selling. Haven't explored the xls stuff yet (to be honest I don't even know what you're talking about

). And what is 'Richie's data mine'?

But then again, I'm a stock junkie and an admin over there, so naturally that place is my home.

Richie's data mine is pretty much what it sounds like. Richie is one of our resident geniuses, and the mine is where you can see the stock market history data.

The xls is basically just a worksheet where you can track your stocks in Excel. You can track your buys and sells. It'll do cool things like show you how much profit you made last year, or highlight stocks that are in your sell or buy range. It won't sell or buy or do anything for you, as that's against the Neopets TOC.

Ah I see. I'll definitely get around to using that. As for the mine, I guess that's an attempt at finding a mathematical function for each of the stocks. Wow, just think of the number-crunching

No wonder he's the 'resident genius'!

Although you'd wonder how complex TNT would make it. I'll bet it's simpler than it looks.
