It looks pretty cool from the screenshots and video. Sony says it should release in February 2006, so it should come out really soon.

I know that Sony is the best video game manufacturer on the planet today, and that is why Neopets wants to make games for their systems, but why doesn't Neopets make a deal with Nintendo for their WiFi network for easily portable Neopets on the DS or with Microsoft for Neopets on X-Box live (possibly a battledome game)?

I'm not saying that the PS2 or PSP games don't look good. They look great given the transition from internet to console.

Just one question on the PSP game, are we going to be stuck playing as a Doglefox or will we able to play as other petpets?

It's been advertised in the Neopets magazine as March 2006, so I'd go with that date rather than Sony's.

Skynetmain the psp has an inbuilt browser so you can go on neopets via wifi , i might get this game , im not to sure though , if i was Neopets INC i would of made the game on a nintendo system , they do far better with cartoony type games .

I'm guessing they approached this like the rest of their merchandising...test the waters first before going hog wild. They did catch the drift when everyone passed out at the thought of them making the game for the PS1. If it sells well, they probably would do something much niftier like that.

Right. I forgot how awesome the PSP really is since I only get mags relating to Nintendo. I totally agree that Nintendo is more cartoony but thinking about it, I would rather have a good looking game on PSP than a great looking game on the DS. Go PSP, but I still stand behind what I said earlier.

PS/Edit: Any movement on the doglefox issue? Can we get a Kadote or something else instead? o_O

It looks like you switch petpets throughout the game, the second screenshot shows somone playiing as what looks to be a krawk.

Those petpets and monsters don't even LOOK like they're from Neopets! I'm kind of upset over the anthro petpets. Pets are enough, I think.

Oh, about the internet/wifi thing, it is supposed to have Ad Hoc Multiplayer Battles.
