They empted my bank account and took all my codestones. I wonder if they were stopped or something? Because they did not take everything.

I could not log into my account, so I asked for my password to be sent to me, it had been changed. Not my email address

I wanted to to get my stuff back. But not really holding out much hope of that

I also wanted to make sure they knew about, so not to get frozen or something.

I can't get how they got into my account in the first place. I have never given out my password to anyone. And I thought it was a great password. random letters and numbers......

Did you visit any other sites? It might have been a cookiegrabber...

it is often hard to catch someone all you can do is hope for the best, and run spyware and adware checks on your pc

Someone probably found out/guessed your password or you did not fully log out on a public terminal.

If you are extremely worried, SELF FREEZE your account and then contact TNT using the correct form.

If you feel confident that the person did not access your e-mail account, change all passwords, and fill out the correct form.

It must have been a cookie graber or something, I just don't see how anyone could have guessed my password.

I use password like this --- wdc91BN14 ( not a real one)
how could someone guess that ? !!

Well as stampsyne said you might have stayed log on at a public computer? If not it's most probably a cookie grabber...

I only play Neopets from home, so it must have been a graber.

Is there anything I can do to stop this from happening again?

:(

Also, when I looked at my Neofriends list there were two names I did not know. One had been frozen. got rid of them both.
I've now blocked anyone from asking to be my neofriend.

Well regularly run spyware checks to ensure that your computer stays clean. That's the best advice I can offer :)

Just a few days ago, my friend's account was broken into and all her neopoints taken. Apparently she was at an unkown neopets site, clicked on a link to neopets, then logged in - and I guess that it was a fake login page. Of course this is different from cookie-grabbing as it is easier to stop than cookie-grabbing is. My advice is not only to run spyware checks and etc., but also to avoid checking out unknown neopet sites as much as possible and also to change your password every once in a while.

I agree with what everyone's said so far, and I'd like to add that they might have hacked your email account.

Something like that happened to me a while ago. They hacked my email and tried to use that to get into my Neopets account. I was a little security-obsessed, so I'd set my email as a hotmail account no one knew about. They didn't get in. You might want to change your email address on Neopets, and probably the password to your email account. Can't hurt, anyway.
