Okay, I tried that Marshmallow world link thingie, and noticed that there
was a double arrow next to what looked like a defunct blog scroller near
the top of the page. I clicked it to see what it would do, and I'm in some
Neopets portal pages. The banner is different (there's a calendar, etc)
and everything is really wide. What happened? I'm not a premium
user - I don't even know HOW to be a premium user! Now when I
refresh my Neopets pages, they're all portalized. Yikes!

You're not a premium user? That's interesting, but I'm assuming it's gone for you now.

No, I'm not a premium user. I finally figured out that if I clicked the red
and green arrow thing in the lower left of the sidebar, everything went
back to normal. If you go to the Marshmallow World page (the link is
in the "Unreleased Thingamabobs" thread), presumably you too can test
out the portal pages.

A couple of times it stopped me, and wouldn't let me do something
because I "wasn't logged in" (I was), and referred to me as a beta
tester. Freaky.

I can go to the portal too... it's not that great though.

I don't have premium, and I did the same thing, played around with the portal a bit, and now when I try to do anything on that account (even log in) I get a popup saying "redirection limit for this URL exceeded" and something about cookies. I've cleared out my cookies and I still can't get back into my account. I just get that popup. (but I can get into my side account just fine)

Oh my! Try clearing your history and your cache, and closing your browser
and then reopening it.

I've tried everything, even using IE instead of firefox, and I'm still locked out of my account. How annoying.

I'm not sure if you've fixed this yet but try going here: http://petpages.neopets.com/~MarshWorld and clicking on the spinny portal symbol at the top of the page again - that worked for someone else with the same problem
