Some of you who are quicker with your hands may have already seen this, but, if you try to buy stuff from the official shops too fast, you will get a message like "due to high demand for Neopian goods, you may only purchase one item every five seconds". Got that a few times recently and they were the first times I had seen it. Guess it was necessary. I've no problems with it (especially since, even though I'm quick enough to get that message to appear, I too have trouble buying certain items or even getting to their haggle screens before they disappear, which is pretty suspicious  ; now, there's a common five second rule between humans and any bots).

Yep, it's been like that for a long time now. I get it every restock.

It's not my fault I'm that quick. :P

That's bad then, if nothing's changed. You guys/gals ever find stuff right on the restock with quantities in the upper 10's and 20's but never manage to even get to their haggle screens? It's inhuman. It's gotta be, right?

Not necessarily. You have to remember that at any given time hundreds of users may be restocking at a particular shop. It also depends on if you catch the beginning of the stock, and how fast your internet/computer is.

I'm not saying there's not ABers out there, I'm just saying that there could be plenty of other legitimate reasons for it.

I don't doubt for a minute that there are ABers in the shops.

For a while after Neopets instituted the click-on-the-pet-in-the-picture thing, I had no trouble restocking. I'd purchase a few things an hour with little effort. Then, within the space of a couple of weeks, that all stopped. I had to fight for even a mediocre buy. In any of the five shops where I usually restocked.

I'm pretty quick and efficient and can nab a good buy when I see it. I use Adblock to block out the cheap junk that stocks, so I only see the decent and good buys. So not getting anything tells me that something's wrong.

There's definitely ABing going on. :/ I hope TNT will soon mod their buying system slightly to knock out the ABers, if only for a short time. *sigh*

I hate restocking. Without T3 or ABers its almost impossible to restock a good item. wizsniping is so much better. :P

They added in the typing thing ("Kauvara's Code"), the pictures, and put limits on what certain accounts could see.

Yet only weeks later, ABers are in full swing again. Restocking is most likely never to be ABer free. TNT comes up with a new method, ABers rewrite their scripts.

I remember that night. It was fantastic. :) I nabbed a candychan that would have been gone to the ABers before that.
