my sister found this out. she was playing gormball controlling the fire faerie and after she won, the fire faerie appears as a battledome challenger! however, the disappointment is she didn't show up. i almost thought i have unearthed a very old bd opponent.

umm... Actually that is the way you are suppose to get the fire faerie. You play gormball with her. And if you win she becomes a challenger in the battledome. I have no idea of why she didn't show up though...

It was part of some kind of 'Faerie League' thing a while back where you could beat each elemental faerie, and the Fire Faerie was one of the opponents you had to unlock before you could fight. When the faeries 'left' the battledome, the Fire Faerie was removed, but the ability to unlock her never followed suit.

Chris is right. You could fight her and the other faeries in the past...

I was wondering the same thing yesterday, when I was trying to get her as a challenger. After two games, I finally got her but she didn't show up.

The Fire Faerie was an old 1 player opponent, back when tehy were doing the "who can beat up the most faeries" compition. Unfourtantly I was too weak and I couldn't beat the light/water/dark/earth faerie. The fire faerie was suppose to be the easiest.
