A new Lenny Conundrum competition has begun. The answer to last week's was 6800. Only 16 people guessed the correct answer, earning themselves 125,000 NP each! Well done!

Congrats to anyone here that got it!

The new one is up:

Darn ... the math reign has ended. :( I was hoping things would swing back to math after the random guess week. Darn.

It was fun while it lasted. ;)

BTW ... 4330 blocks moved ... 5 people per block ... 21650 BMs (Block movements ... forget who in the LDP thread came up with that).

Now for the kicker ... we basically just had to decide how many blocks (on average) people moved. I stupidly picked 5. (Why is it stupid? ... need to pick a non-integer in hopes of getting a better payout).

What number should you have picked? PI
yes ... if you said, on average, people moved 3.14159 blocks ... you would have come up with an answer of 21650 / 3.14159 = 6891 ==> rounding down (as they asked), makes an answer of 6800.

So people moved PI blocks on average. How weird is that?

About this week's LC and news ... I'm surprised how early things have been all week. Did TNT get thrown into the future somehow?

People moved PI blocks? That means they all moved a very small decimal amount of a block. Oo; A never ending decimal at that, too...

Anyway, I get the current condrum now, quite easy now that I got it. xD Just...stare at it for a while. Turn it around. Turn your head if that works better.

Thanks =D *huggles pryamid block puzzle*

I did the same thing. Just figgured the number of total blocks, and then looked at PPT and got a general feel for how many blocks each person moved. Something in my mind then said higher, so I suck in 6800 and waited a week =P

this one isnt that hard =)

Okay it's spilled all over the boards. I just sent the answer in, but I highly, HIGHLY doubt I'll get anything besides 100NP. :x Oh well...

For those of you who may still be stuck...go spin around.;)

Ya know, I think the neoboards should be dissabled the first 24 hours or so after the LC comes out...

Xena, thanks for the solution to last weeks. I was wondering how they got the answer. Never thought about using Pi.
