question about auctions

this morning i bid on some auctions. it took my np's as i was bidding. is this normal? then i got outbid on all the auctions but i ahvent een given my np's back. is that right?

I think you only get your money back when the auction ends

You don't get your money back until the auction ends and the item is given to the highest bidder. Sometimes that is a few minutes after the auction ends. And at times a bit longer than that.
