HTML help - how do you change the look of your sidebar?

i'm trying to fix up my gallery and the only thing i can't find is how to change the sidebar in my gallery. a lot of people have this so i know it can be done. i just want something simple....change the colors, maybe the font. anyone know how to do this? it'd be much appreciated!

You have to make your own in a paint program, save it to a server, and then use the code to place it overtop of the other one. As far as I know, there isn't a code that you can use to just change the font or color, sorry.

There is a variety of ways to do it but the 2 i recommend is either a.) not doing it unless you know what your doing because you will need to be accurate when it comes to the placement of the sidebar or b) making sure you set enough time and patience aside to sit down and play with a sidebar design and make sure you have the right html code for it.
