To clairfiy something for me?

Sat Oct 01, 2005 10:59 pm

I was just wondering if it's ok that I'm going to move some things from my secondary accountto my main account? And I mean alot of things.

I just don't wantto get frozen yehknow?

I personally wouldn't risk it - TNT might not see it as such an innocent gesture...

do it slowly, like a few things a week.

Don't do alot a things all at one time , make small lots now and then for the trading post on you first account then make an offer on the 1st account using your 2nd account and then accept it on the 1st account .
TNT will sometimes freeze account if big lots are going to and from the same users each time , because i think it a precation to stop people losing stuff from there accounts .

Thats what I am figuring, just doing it here and there untill they're over. I moved about 35 or so items an hour ago, so I think that'll be it for now.

if you have some friends that you trust, i mean really really trust, ask if you can send stuff to their accounts and they can send it to your main. that way, there's not a whole ton of stuff coming from one account.

but only if you know the people, preferably in real life.

I closed and emptied out a gallery on my side account - it took forever to do. I slowly put a few things in a trade, then waited a day or so to offer from my main, then the day after that would accept on the side account.

I did also put something on my lookup and in the closed gallery as an FYI to TNT.

Yeah, I could do someting like that I guess. Either way, I'll just take my time and slowly do it.

wow, I had no idea that it was such a big deal. O.O' but I guess TNT is getting more unreasonable sometimes... I used to get huge lots of donations from guild members in the past all the time and nothing happened to me.

But that's different. You have Guildmembers send you things from different accounts. I am transefering things from accoutn A to account B. Not from account A through Z

lol, no, I meant that 1 user would set up like 10 lots (or whatever the max # is) at a time for me. But things might have changed since then anyway.

I understand it's better to be on the safe side. ^_^

Slower is probably better. Although I had no troubles when I moved a few hundred items from one of my accounts to the other, and I believe it all in a one or two day span. But I say err on the side of caution. I'm actually glad you posted this, as I'm about to close out one of my galleries and will be doing the same thing. I didn't even think about TNT taking interest in such things.

This cautionary stuff isn't new. I'd say it's been a somewhat common practice for upwards of 3 years...
