but in the short time he payed he made over 2 million neopoints, even thougth he was in much more less time that i even was (i dont have 2 mill yet. )

but now he is seeing me playing and is telling me that he wants to give me the money.

The question is, would that be a freezable offence? should i ask neopets via email?

i have never done anyhthing that merits being frozen, but because i had to share a computer with my bros so much time i have played with fear of being frozen. Would this cross it over the line? (i dont live in the same place anymore, so it would be even more suspicious)

Hi

You know, that is a very good question. I don't know - my roomie asked me the same thing recently, as she may have to quit. Just no time for neo anymore and she wanted me to have whatever np and some items she has.

As for you, I would suggest your brother write to support and explain the situation. Give all the detail he can about his account, your account name, that you are brothers, things like that.

Wait until support contacts him and follow their guidelines. If you do get an answer, please post here? It could be helpful for some of the rest of us :)

Either that, or have him purchase something like a Darigan PB or another highpriced item. Send it via "Neofriends" (aka manually). Supposedly I heard that can't be tracked. As for the rest of the money, either buy another PB if you can or simply let it sit in the account.

Occasionally I might find really valuable items on side accounts I might be visiting, and can't stand not shipping it over to my main. But after that, I make sure never to do it again for a long time, and even sometimes "removing" the account via the link given in Contact Us.

In all honesty, your best bet is to do it in moderation. If you transfer all 2 million its going to look suspicious, if you buy 2 million worth of stuff and transfer it to your account, its going to look suspicious.

Your safest bet is to set up a trade, do the max np of 800k on week, and do a repeat the second week, then the third week spend the remainder. Keep in mind these are your trades, your just setting up the trade from the said $$ account to your account. Its the safest way, good luck!

Actually Hikari, for people sharing a computer, sending something expensive via Send to Neofriend has been shown to be a good way to get frozen for multiple accounts. I've seen it happen. A mom saved up for and bought a pb for her son, just sent it to him to suprise him. The surprise was both accounts iced.

As to sending things from side to main accounts, I've done that but usually it's an RE item (like a codestone) - I'll set up a trade on the side account and "offer" food, toys, etc. needed for the side account from my main. But I don't do it often either. When I closed my gallery (on a side account) and slowly sent everything back to my main (where it was originally bought and sent to the side) it took forever and I held my breath after every transfer.

my friend just quit and gave me about 100k. we did it by placing several overpriced omelettes in my shop. while 100k is considerably less than 2mil, it worked very well and nothing happened. i suggest doing it that way, perhaps only a few omelettes a day or week.

i don't suggest emailing TNT, because they might interpret it as accoutn sharing and unfairly freeze you both.

I had a situation like that a few years ago. A friend had hundreds of items and hundreds of thousands of NP's. We just did it one trade at a time, very slowly. And for the NP's, overpriced omelette's once a week for a long time. :) Nothing happened. :) Just take it slow and you'll be fine.

Slowly doing this seems to be the concensus. What do you do in the case of a shared computer though? TNT is going to see the same IP and np/items moving back and forth, aren't they? And wouldn't that set up a red flag, like it's the same person trying to pull a fast one by saying they were 2 people?

It seems to me that they notice the logging in/out more. They know that people use the same computer (families, school, etc). Even though they do freeze for that, it's not as likely anymore. Use two browsers, or if you use firefox, use more than one profile. Then you don't have to log in or out, and it raises less flags. :)

My husband, daughter, and I have played Neo for almost 3 years now. All on the same IP. And have sent expensive presents back and forth to each other on occasion. And, have loaned each other lots of nps on occasion. I also send expensive plushies from my main to my gallery account quite a bit--at least one a week. And, we had never had a problem with it.

I think that Neo looks at the patterns going on in the household. And, if you do the transfer slowly of nps slowly, I highly doubt you are going to raise any red flags. However, if you write Neo, you are definitely going to raise some red flags.
