Okay, I ment to post this earlier, but my mother was talking about it a minute ago, and reminded me.

I went on vacation this week for a few days, and on our way we were within a few minutes walk of a limited too. There arn't any close to my home, so I thought "mm, Maybe I can get some neopets stuff!" So, l walked into this little girl store, beat red, looked at the neopets plushies, etc. I bought the faerie kougra, which was well done, I like it alot. ^^;

However, I went to look at the BRAND NEW BABY LUPE! Omg I found it. Boy was I dissapointed. He was NO bigger then the voice activated dogglefox's, if not smaller, and for that bit of fluff, they were charging 10.99! I mean, If I'm going to have to be charged 10 bucks, atleast make it a bit bigger, right? It was DINKY. I don't care if it was a "Baby" it was tiny, and not worth 10 bucks. I would have payed 3 bucks for that little bitty thing. Gurhg. I was so upset. Then the lady tried to charge me extra for the pillow. I about freaked.

I am, however, over all satisfed with the merchendice neopets puts out. There was a large selection, Including a maraque(sp?) chomby that was cute. But I'm not a chomby fan so I passed him up.

I just wanted to complain about the poor quiality of the baby lupe...

Eh, I agree with you about the prices of the plushies, but that's how they are all priced. My husband says it's because they are "specialty plushies". Like how Warner Bros. and Disney plushies are way overpriced if you go to the company stores to buy them.

I think the Baby Lupe plushie is smaller because it's a baby. You only paid $10? The plushies are $12.50 around here. You must have caught a sale.

Most of the others were 12.50, but him, and the maraque chomby where 10.99.

I also didn't purchase it. Lupes arn't my favorite and the plushie they had looked deformed.

Name brand or not, Its too exspensive for me! lol.

the plushies are ugly and shoddily made. for that kind of money, i can get cuter ones and better made ones.

Heck, I could make one for cheaper, and have it look better!

My limited too doesn't even have it; It's missing a lot of plushies. Too bad, as I wanted a white lupe.

I just hate they chose limited too to sell their plushies... I mean, how in the heck are boys supposed to want to go in there?!? I've given into the wanting of neopets plushies a couple times, but both times were over a year ago...

At least no one will assume you actually want to buy the clothes! I hate the plushies being at Limited Too as well, expecially since they're in the way back. Fortunately I haven't had a need to go since the aishas.

Oh, Tonu, I have returned. I couldn't stay away forever, you know.

And, regarding the Limited Too--just pretend you are going in there to get a gift for a sister or girl friend. I hate going in the store and I am a mom--too glitzy, too flashy, and the clothes aren't too well made and often are trashy (oops, sorry if I offended any Limited Too wearers out there).

I have a Baby Lupe and I adore it. I think it is perfect.

But Limited Too makes me throw up. The stuff is right at the door,but its beside the Hilary Duff things..they should,maybe go to just Borders. Easy for both genders.

Anyway, there is not a Limited Too within at least 30 miles of me, so there are alot of plushies I just don't have.

However, the new baby lupe, white lupe, purple grundo and faerie cybunny (had to get one for my rl best friend) and the third set of 5 mini petpet plushies (whew) were all (finally!) for sale at a local Carlton Card Shop. Look for either Carlton Cards or Messages.

I'm not going to say I'm totally impressed with the baby lupe, I thought it would be the same kind of fabric as the baby scorchio and they have changed the way they made the wings on the faerie cybunny - those are not great. The older faerie pets had better wings. But yes, I did buy them. Hopeless when confronted with a shelf of adorable plushies, I am. I did also get the purple grundo, it is VERY cute! Didn't get the white lupe, I'm just not a lupe person. They also have a striped jubjub plushie which was bizarre - it's long "fur" and looks vaguely demented.

Really? I thought the striped JubJub was one of my favorites so far. I absolutely love it. It a big ball of sky blue and baby pink striped fluff with two big fuzzy orange feet. Adorable.

The Faerie Cybunnies are cute as well. The wings are a pain, though. The wings on mine keep falling the wrong way. If they didn't want to make them like the earlier faerie pets, they should have at least made them bigger. The wings are just odd. The rest of the cybunny is just adorable, though.
