can bori be painted darigan? i see it in the rainbow pool, but on neocolors, it says unrealeased. is neocolors telling the truth?

Neocolours is a complicated thing...it has a script that tracks TNT every time they upload a pet to the Neopets server. When Neo uploads a pet, Neocolours detects it and posts it as "unreleased". However, the owner and creator of Neocolours has not updated the page since who-knows-when, so it does not know whether the pet has been released or not. In the case of the Darigan Bori, yes, you can paint it Darigan.
