Is there a problem with auctions?

I am currently 1.7 million NP poorer. And lacking any item in return.

WHY isn't the item I bid on (Goo Blaster) stated? Instead it says %obj_name....

Anyone else had this problem? Or do I need to wait a while before the item shows? o_O

A lot of people are complaining about it on the boards.

Duke, yes there apparently is a problem with auctions (and other things) - but in one case a person who'd bid and won an expensive auction did end up getting the item. It did take a few hours though.

Wait and see if you do get the item. If not, I'd try doing a copy and paste of the neomail you received (that would be proof, having the auction number, etc.) and send a bug report.

thats happened to me on 2 petpet lab map pieces. i only got the confirmation neomail one one, and its still not in my inventory, and the other, the "my bids" pages said i'd won it as well, but i haven't had any confirmation neomail about it.

and at least 10k has disappeared, it may actually be alot more, because i was selling alot of stuff at the time, and really lost track, so i may have as much as 80k gone walkies. the nps isn't that bad. if 1.7 million went walking i'ld be very very unhappy.

bleh. this was about 7-8 hours ago too.

i thought it was just me because of the petpet lab map being a relatively new item, there might be a glitch like there sometimes is..

good luck getting your goo blaster, and i hope you didn't do what i did, and deleted the neomail. *sigh*

20 hours and still nothing...

I sent a bug report last night. I plan to resend it every 3 days or so for quite a while. Don't tell me once is enough, they just about never listen the first time

I am sorry. I tend to agree with the just sending a report (on just about anything) once. I'm still waiting - over a month now since my first bug report and have sent 2 more - for word on why the petpet I painted blue isn't blue ... the petpet's listed, I had the pppb and it allegedly "worked" and I did a C&P of the winning auction neomail for the pppb.
