* Neopets in Hong Kong - We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who made it to SOGO yesterday. It was a great success and everyone was awesome, despite it taking up to six hours for people to queue for their sketches. Hey, where's the creativity? These are just...normal animals.

Not that they're not good looking animals but you'd expect them to have antennae and wings and colors where antennae and wings and colors aren't expected.

since geraptiku is in an american native tropical theme, they thought putting petpets that look like animals of the area like the llama and the croc

I think at least with the first batch of Gerapitku pets, they added Mesoamerican-inspried patterns on the petpets that resembled real-life pets to make them look more exotic. I would have found that more unique than having something flat out looking like a real creature.

But I love the llama petpet though.

I think the name is Tuco, Not 100% sure though.

I'm hoping they made the llama petpet because the llama neopet didn't win the vote for new species. It was cute and all, but I couldn't really see it as a neopet.

Well the croc's name is Crocalu and is r87. >.>

Bah...I was expecting a cooler name.

I dunno... Crocalu is kinda fun to say.

The llama is Vacana (also fun to say) and is rarity 89, so it shouldn't be too hard to get hold of soon enough.
