"Neopets Auction Account"?

So, I was curious as to how many neopet-related usernames were taken (like taelia), so I looked up Jhudora and Illusen. It says that they are "Neopets Auction Accounts", yet they have no auctions. Was there once a purpose for these accounts? I've been on Neopets for 50+ months, and have never heard of this.

Back in April it was announced in the news that "You may notice some rather famous characters such as Queen Fyora, Jeran, Captain Scarblade and Balthazar putting up a few things for auction. These special items are there for you to bid on, so don't be shy ".

They did have items up to begin with but I'm not sure whether they still do. And I can't remember what items they were, either weapons or magic items or something similar I think Jhudora and Illusen were part of this too I think, they have the same auction account blurb as the others =)

Jhudora has a piece of cake up for auction, and Queen_Fyora has a couple kites up, so I guess that answers the question about whether or not they still auction stuff =o
