I'm really confused about Abilities that are used in combat. All Abilities come from Faeries, right? And as a newbie to the battledome with a level 14 Ixi (Getting all stats to double before leveling up), what Abilities do I need to get?

Bottled Faeries bless your pet with different abilities, but your pet needs to be at a certain level to receive each one.

I recommend Drain Life, Burrow, and Sink.

That will tell you more about what type of faerie is needed for each ability, and what level the pet must be.

(Note that the pet has to be AT LEAST that level, not exactly at it.)

i made the mistake of buying as many faeries as i could and blessing my...i have tonnes of abilities but on the long run only about 5 are enough////a few hundred thousand down the drain\\\\

Fire Gaze is also usefull for low level battling and it is one of the first abilities by the Fire Faerie
